Cardiology is the medical specialty devoted to caring for everything related to your heart and circulation. The industry has made great progress in diagnosing and treating heart disease, but it is still the number one killer of men and women in our country. Though age is a contributing factor, the single most important cause of heart disease is unhealthy lifestyle.
The Stamford Health Cardiology team puts the patient first. We provide an environment of compassion and collaborative care. Our caregivers, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists are specially trained and educated. They’re further supported by a dedicated team of medical professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistance, who have received advanced training. Together, we’re here to help you achieve the best health possible as is ingrained in our philosophy.
And because we put you and the community first, we offer a weekly "Walk with a Doc" program, Monday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the Tully Health Center. Sessions begin with a 15-minute physician discussion, followed by 45 minutes of walking and talking. This popular program is free and no registration is required. All are welcome to attend.
